Thank God it is Friday again. I really don't know where the time is going at the moment with Christmas jut around the corner. Are you all ready? I'm not, I only have 1 present so far so am really going to have to get a move on. At least the good thing thing is I know what I am wanting to get for everyone which helps.
Well on to my card, I decided to do another Easel card as I really love this shape. I have once again used papers from Bearly Mine Designs as these are just so pretty along with some co-ordinating Pink Petticoat ones too. I stamped a lovely Tilda image and coloured her in using my Promarkers mounted her onto pop dots, added a computer generated sentiment and there you have it.
Have a great weekend everyone and look forward to sharing some more with you soon.

Wedding Card

I haven't been feeling up to much crafting over the last couple of day, mainly because it is so painful to sit as my burn is right on my waistline, but I did manage to get a wedding card done for some friends of my parents.

I have used papers from my Pink Petticoat CD along with an absolutely fab Cute Daisy May image that just makes those wedding cards so easy and lovely to do.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will return soon.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp

I know I am cutting it fine but things have been really hectic lately but here is my card for the Sunday Sketch and Stamp. I have matted some green Bazzill onto a Craftwork Cards base card then popped some Christmas papers from Kars onto some card that I printed Crimson using my Pink Petticoat CD. The image is one of the cute Pixie downloads from Charmed Cards and Crafts

Passion for Promarkers

Here is my challenge card for Passion for Promarkers where you had to use at least 2 colours out of Lilac, Lavender, Amethyst and Aubergine. For mine I used Lilac and Amethyst. I haven't been entering the challenges recently due to time restraints but I have made a challenge to myself that I will start to do more.
All papers are from Pink Petticoat and the adorable image was a lovely little freebie from Sketching Stamper where Chris designs some truly beautiful designs. If you haven't seen them yet then pop on over. I have purchased some of these in the past and I can honestly say that they are so easy to colour and really versatile. I added some ribbons from my stash and a computer generated sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by.

Tilda with Sunflower

Here is another birthday card that I made for another online friend as it was her birthday yesterday, so if you are reading this Happy Birthday Sandra. I have used the Tilda with Sunflower stamp that I was lucky enough to stamp out at my scrapbooking crop. The lady that runs our class has never really been into making cards but one week I had brought along my tildas (I had really fallen in love with these little sweeties). I was telling her how addicted I was to them and she said she couldn't see what all the fuss was about. Anyhow to cut a long story short, the following month when I arrived she was so excited to show me all hers LOL! and when I say all hers, I mean a lot more than I have. Since then she is well and truly hooked.
I have coloured Tilda in using my promarkers and layered her onto Pink Bazzill cardstock and some Pink Petticoat papers from the Spring Wishes collection (I love Pink Petticoat papers as they are just so fresh and pretty, I just wish I could do them more justice but I am hoping to get a new printer soon which should solve the problem).

Anniversary Card

Here is a quick anniversary card I did for my Stepson and his wife.

The card base is from Craft Creations, the heart was cut on my Cricut using the Wedding cartridge, the birds and birdcage were cut from JOTS. The background paper is from Pink Petticoat (Old Fashioned Girl collection).

Wedding Cards

Good morning. I hope you all enjoyed the bank holiday weekend and took advantage of the lovely weather we had. It has been really busy over here what with Benn's birthday and having the family all gathered. We really had a lovely time though and it was nice catching up as everyone leads such busy lives these days.

I was asked by a friend to make a couple of wedding cards for her as her brother is getting married this week. I must say I struggled a bit with these as she insisted that her brother's name was mentioned first as she is extremely close to him. I didn't have a hard time actually doing it, it was mentally I struggled as I don't know about you but I have always felt that it didn't matter whether they were family members or not, the brides name should always be first. What do you think, I would be interested in anyone else's thoughts on this, or is it just me?

I have used all Pink Petticoat on one of the cards including the new Lola Rose Wedding designs and on the other I used my Cricut machine. Anyway, thanks for looking and I hope you like them.

UK Crafters Challenge

This is the card I've done for the UK Crafters thread on the Cricut MB. The challenge was to do a card using just Black and White. I cut the chandelier out using the Home Decor cartridge. Mini Monograms for the scalloped mat and Storybook for the sentiment. The papers were Little Big Dots in Black from Pink Petticoat (do you get the feeling that I like polka dots at the moment), fnished off with craftwork cards card candy.

I have just had a great evening crafting with a friend of mine that has just started to get involved. Her words tonight were "isn't it addictive", oh gosh I have only gone through a quarter of what I have got so far, I will just have to ease her in a it slower.

Hope you have all had a good weekend so far and hope that tomorrow will be even better.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Hope everyone is enjoying the Bank Holiday, amazing how we always have horrible weather on bank holidays. Our local pub were having a fun day with bouncy castles, live band and a bbq today. It was such a shame as everyone had put in so much work and then the weather goes and ruins it, especially as yesterday had been so nice.

We went to Benn's football match in the morning where we were facing the team that were top of the league, we had played them before but had only drawn against them. Well this time it was fantastic. The team were so hyped up and really went out with positive attitudes. Benn had a brilliant game and scored a cracking goal. We finally finished with a score of 3-0 with Benn being awarded Man of the Match. To say he was chuffed would be an under statement.
Today I have been busy making a couple of cards, one for a friend for her birthday and a new house card for another friend.
Both cards have been made using Pink Petticoat papers and images. The birthday card uses the papers and images from the Sweet Sundaes collection. I cut the cupcake out using the Home Decor cartridge on my Cricut. For the new home one I used Little Big Dots in Black, the Home Sweet Home image set along with the Girly Curly Sentiments. Have I told you before how much I love Pink Petticoat.
