Polkadoodle Challenge

This week over at Polkadoodles the challenge is to make a card with an envelope format, and after seeing this cute little image over at Digital Delights thought how perfect it would be for this challenge. I coloured the image with my promarkers and then scaled my background paper from Bearly Mine using the computer to add an insert to my envelope. The lovely ticket sentiment was another freebie from Bizzy Becs.
Hope you have a good week .

Sunday Sketch & Stamp

I know I am cutting it fine but things have been really hectic lately but here is my card for the Sunday Sketch and Stamp. I have matted some green Bazzill onto a Craftwork Cards base card then popped some Christmas papers from Kars onto some card that I printed Crimson using my Pink Petticoat CD. The image is one of the cute Pixie downloads from Charmed Cards and Crafts

Anniversary Card

My mum asked me if I could make a card for some very good friends of theirs as it will be their Coral anniversary next week. I decided that I would make a card to match the little box of notelets that I made last week for her as the colours were just right for coral, especially as mum fell in love with the notelet box exclaiming "wow I would have loved one of them to give to Carmela" - so Mum, if you are reading this I got the hint and here is the card to go with it LOL.

Forever Friends

I really enjoyed making this card as I love the colour combination of red, black and white. I used a Craftwork Cards base card along with the red/black and the white/black dotty papers, these are their new ones from their Best of British range layered on red and black Bazzill cardstock. I them stamped an Autumn Leaves sentiment circle, popped my adorable Tilda (after having coloured her in using my promarkers) on to a Nestibilities scalloped square, added some ribbon and a couple of flowers and there you have it.

I am entering this into 3 challenges: 1.) I love Promarkers (to follow a Sketch), 2. Just Magnolia (Friendship) and 3. Just Magnolia Monthly Challenge (3D Work)

Thanks for looking.

Tilda with Sunflower

Here is another birthday card that I made for another online friend as it was her birthday yesterday, so if you are reading this Happy Birthday Sandra. I have used the Tilda with Sunflower stamp that I was lucky enough to stamp out at my scrapbooking crop. The lady that runs our class has never really been into making cards but one week I had brought along my tildas (I had really fallen in love with these little sweeties). I was telling her how addicted I was to them and she said she couldn't see what all the fuss was about. Anyhow to cut a long story short, the following month when I arrived she was so excited to show me all hers LOL! and when I say all hers, I mean a lot more than I have. Since then she is well and truly hooked.
I have coloured Tilda in using my promarkers and layered her onto Pink Bazzill cardstock and some Pink Petticoat papers from the Spring Wishes collection (I love Pink Petticoat papers as they are just so fresh and pretty, I just wish I could do them more justice but I am hoping to get a new printer soon which should solve the problem).

Birthday Card

Today was a very special birthday for one of my cyber friends called Rosy, it was her 40th and to celebrate the occasion I made her this card.
I cut the letters out using my beloved cricut with the Pooh font. The papers were cupcakes from Crafts House. I ran my embossing tool on the back of the letters to shape them and then added silicone glue to make them pop. The background papers are Bazzill and I used my Doily Lace punch.

Christmas Pixie

I managed to finish my challenge card for the Cricut MB this afternoon which was to use Red and Ribbons. The Pixie that I have used is one from the Pixie 1 set from Charmed Cards and Crafts which were designed by Louise along with elements and backgrounds by both Louise and Karen. These really are adorable and you can also see other samples of them on Dotties World, especially one called Dreamer which I have almost finished. My cardbase is one from Craftwork cards, Bazzill cardstock for the background, Mini Monograms for the scalloped circle embossed with Divine Swirls Embossing folder. I coloured my Pixie with my wonderful Promarkers.

Thanks for looking.
PS. Over at the Charmed Cards and Crafts blog they have another fabby prize up for grabs to win 72 Copic Markers. Pop over, link your card and leave a link on your post to be in with a chance of winning.

Daisy May Challenge Card

Morning everyone, hope you are all looking forward to the weekend, I am.

I managed to get a bit of time last night to work on my Daisy May challenge card and here it is. The little girl image is a digital download from Sketching Stamper, I just love her great big eyes. She is coloured in with those lovely promarkers again. I have used Bazzill cardstock in pink and lilac that I scalloped using my Fiskars Threading Water punch and a piece of background paper from my stash. Finished off with a couple of flowers, ribbon and a rub on sentiment.

Hope you enjoy looking.

Cute Daisy May Challenge Card

Well I am pleased to say that my migraine finally subsided during the morning yesterday enabling me to get some crafting done last night - so much for having all this time on my own while Brian was away to get some quality time crafting, well you know what they say about the best laid plans.
This is my card for the Cute Daisy May challenge this week. The requirement for this challenge was Gems.
I used a scalloped card base from Craftwork Cards. The Pink and Green card is Bazzill bling with some scrap multi colour paper that coordinated with the bling really well. I then added the prima flowers and some crystals.
I must say, I have really fallen for these cute little images so will probably bore you all over the coming weeks, especially as I am loving all this colouring with my promarkers, I think it all stems from my 3 brothers always running off with my colouring books. Benn just looks at me with his eyebrows raised - obviously mum sitting colouring images in while sitting in the car waiting for the football to start is definately un-cool.
