Another Letraset Card

Good morning everyone, what a dismal day after yesterdays nice bright spring day.  I took a couple of days off this week being half term but what with sleep-overs and such I ended up with a day to myself yesterday (heaven every now and then) so decided what better way to spend it other than crafting.  I was very pleased to be able to get a couple of commissions done but unfortunately I cannot share them with you yet but I did manage to get one made just for the fun of it and so decided that I would enter it into the Letraset competition that can be found on Enfys blog here.

For this card I used the following promarkers (I think I am going through my Apricot stage at the moment):

Girls Hair: Sandstone, Vanilla and Ivory
Boys Hair: Cinnamon, Sandstone and Ivory
Girls Dress: Ginger and Apricot
Boys Jumper: Kahki and Ivory
Girls Shoes: Apricot and Cool Grey 1
Bench: Cinnamon and Shale
Rope: Sandstone
Boys Shoes: Shale and Cool Grey 1

I have used a mixture of Bazzill, White Pearl card and a Nitwit download (Tippytoes) finished off with some of my new Craftwork Cards Candi and Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.  The sweet little image is by Lily of the Valley and is so adorable.  The gorgeous new Martha Stewart punch is called Cherish (and I think it is my new all time favourite, at least until they bring the next lot out lol).

Well have a nice day everyone, I will as I am off out for the day with my lovely Mum.

Thanks for visiting.

Happy Sunday everyone, at least the weather is a bit better today than it was yesterday especially as I will be off in a little while to stand on the sidelines of a football match, lucky me lol.

Well who was a lucky girl then, yes you guessed it ME - OMG I was so amazed to find that I only went and won the Copic Marker giveaway that Donna from Bearly Mine Creations had been given from Cult Pens.  I only found out on Friday afternoon that I had won, sent my address to Donna and couldn't believe that they arrived first thing Saturday morning.  How was that for Customer Service.  I can't thank Donna or Cult Pens enough and will be having a play over the next few days so watch this space.

So onto my card.

This is my challenge card for the Letraset Promarker challenge on Enfy's blog.  Letraset have come out with some new Blending sets that look really great, especially for newbies to these fabulous pens.  It takes all the guesswork out of trying to work out with colours pair and blend together.

I have used the following colours for this creation.

Valentine Sweet Box

Hi everyone

Yes I know twice in one week but this was something I have really been wanting to share with you.  I have seen lots of these boxes around the blogs and have wanted to make one for ages so when it came to do my Dad's card to give to my Mum for Valentine's Day I thought it would be ideal.  It became even better when Donna from Bearly Mine brought out her lovely Floral Fantasies download as I wanted this to be very special for my Mum as they have been married now for 52 years and as she loves roses, I wanted to reflect this.

My Dad then filled the box with her favourite Lindt and Raffaelo chocolates, so as you can see I couldn't share it with you until she had received it.

Sorry but there is a few pictures (you can't tell that I am really proud of it can you lol).

I am going to enter this into the following challenges.

Bearly Mine Challenge- Ribbons and Pearls
Digital Tuesday - Use a Diecut (Marianne Die)
Spoonful of Sugar - Anything but a card (I know this is a card but it is also a sweet box, so hope this counts)
Papertake Weekly - Putting on the Glitz

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday - Love Themed Gift
Cardmadfairy's Digi Days Challenge - Romance
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Flowers
One Stitch at a Time - Pretty

Fussy & Fancy Friday Challenge - Sweet Treats

Well that is it so I will now say goodnight but I will be back later to show you a card that I have made for a one off challenge that can't be combined with anything else.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you visit again soon.

Valentines - Again

Hi everyone, just a quick post as I am about to dash off to Benn's football match.  Hope you are all having a great weekend.

My card this week was another Valentines card I was asked to make.  I have used another Kenny K's great image as these are just the best for valentines aren't they.  I have only used plain papers too as I wanted a simple look, I then just added a heart doily, ribbon as some fabby Craftwork Cards Card Candi - oh cos I forgot to say that I was one of the lucky winners on their blog to name the Celebrity House photographs taken from their trip to CHA.  Well lucky old me only went and won and for my prize I am now the proud owner of every new card candi that they have just launched with these little beauties being one of them (yes you heard right, over £40 worth of Card Candi whoopi).

And while I am on the subject of winning, I was also lucky to win on the Totally Papercrafts blog hop this week, a fabulous collection of Alota Rubber Stamps.

So aren't I the lucky one.

I am entering this into the following challenges.

Digital Tuesday - Valentines Day Theme
Spoonful of Sugar - Lets See Love
Passion for Promarkers - Let there be Love
Papertake Weekly - Have a heart
C.R.A.F.T - Valentines
Totally Papercrafts - Clean and Simple

Another Birthday Card

Evening everyone, hope you are all having a good week.

Well I had a lovely crafting time Saturday night and Sunday with my little niece, we made some cards including a valentines one for her Mummy and Daddy (silly Auntie forgot to take a photo of it to show you all but take my word, she is a smashing little cardmaker).

Now onto my card to show you this week.  My friends Son will be 10 at the end of the month so I thought I would get ahead and make his card now (especially as it will enable me to enter this fortnights challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges).

So hope you like it.

Birthday Card

Morning all

Are you having a good weekend, mind you not too sure about this weather though with this wind.  It could be worse though as our poor friends and relations in Australia are certainly having a time of it.

I am just about to spend a little time crafting in a mo as I have my neice staying with us tonight as her Mum and Dad are out for the evening and as she is just like her Auntie and loves her crafting, well that is just the excuse I need.

This card is for someone who wanted a birthday card for a friend.

All the papers come from Craftwork cards along with the Card Candy.  I have coloured the lovely Willow in using my promarkers and then coloured the white grosgrain ribbon using the same pen.

I am entering this card into the following challenges.

Paperplay - Stamp it Out (Image)
I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes but must use Promarkers
Tip Top Tuesday - Girlie
Polkadoodles - Hearts (I.ve used a Heart Charm)
Scrap Creations - Friendship
Stamptacular Sunday - Whatever/Anything Goes
C.R.A.F.T - In a Roll of the Die
Totally Papercrafts - Friendship

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon.

Baby Card

Morning everyone

Phew, nearly didn't keep to my resolution but finally had a bit of time last night to have a play.

We have been back to the hospital for Brian to have some tests done to see if it would be viable to operate.  We now just have to wait until we see his specialist again to find out the results.  Doesn't do much for his blood pressure I must say but as I told Brian, we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Anyhow onto my card.  This time I have had to make a baby card for a little girl and came across a new download from Pink Gems.  How good is that as everything comes for you to just print, cut and then layer and design - heaven for when you have had a week like mine.

I am entering this into the following challenges.

Paperplay - Layer it Up (Week 4)
Totally Papercrafts - One for the Kiddies (Challenge 51)
Pink Gems - Ribbon & Lace (Challenge 13)
Crafty Calendar Challenge - New Beginnings (Challenge 16)

Oh well better get a move on and get ready for work.  Have a good day.
