Friday Sketchers & Lily-Boo's Boutique

I do love this time of year, getting ready for the crisp frosty mornings and hopefully some snow (as I adore it), but the only thing I don't like is getting up when it is dark and it getting dark again by the time I get home from work, especially as it causes such a problem getting a good photo of your cards, so I do apologise for the poor lighting with this one.

I am entering this card into the Friday Sketchers challenge. I have used another one of the adorable bauble images from Lily-Boo's Boutique that are available from here, with a fab price of only £1.99 for a sheet of 6. Now you can't beat that can you, imagine how much it would cost for these as stamps rather than downloads, and the great thing is you can re-size them to whatever size you need. Have you popped over to the challenge blog yet and had a go. If not why don't you have a go and if you haven't got an image to use Sam has has also very kindly put a lovely little freebie on there for you to use too.

Just Magnolia Challenge, Spoonful of Sugar & Friday Sketchers

This card is for some friends who are celebrating their Coral wedding anniversary. I was also able to fit this into 3 challenges this week starting with the Just Magnolia where the criteria was ribbons and bows. The second challenge is for Spoonful of Sugar that wanted distressing and the third and final one is for Friday Sketchers where you had to follow the sketch using Blue and Orange.I am really pleased with how this came out and I think the Magnolia image is just adorable. I also added Flower Soft to the roses just to make them touchy feely.

Thanks for stopping by.

Two postings in one day . . . .

I know, 2 postings in one day what is going on. Well I have been having fun tonight and managed to get my card done for the Friday Sketcher challenge. I have been wanting to do one of these for a while now but Friday seems to come round so quick that I have never managed it. I also wanted to enter the Cute Daisy May challenge as well and as the challenge is Animals I thought great, I can enter both, ha ha.

All the papers are from My Minds Eye (I have rather a lot of this as you have probably gathered) with one of the Easter 2009 Tilda's. I also covered some chipboard flowers with matching cardstock and finished it off with Liquid Pearls.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.
